Pupils Well Being
We believe children need to feel safe and secure in their environment so that they can focus on learning. All children are supported in family groups; this means that children from the younger class are supported by older children who operate as role models.
All the staffs are highly trained to support learners with a range of emotional, developmental and physical needs. We believe that every member of our school community is unique, special and has something to offer.
We are very proud of our kitchen and cooks who produce a tasty, varied and balanced menu of hot meals which children can purchase on a daily basis. Our meals are freshly cooked using local produce where possible. Children can choose from a range of enjoyable options or bring their own lunch box. We encourage pupils to have healthy snacks at play time and fruit is provided for all KS 1 pupils. Good manners and active lifestyles are both encouraged and rewarded.
